Beginning "Invitation"

"Invitation" was an idea Marcelle conceived and took to Photoshop in her computer to render as exactly as possible so as to have composition, tone and color all as worked out as possible before going to the next step.

Step 2

This is the drawing rendered on the gessoed panel using line and tone.

Step 3

Now the drawing becomes much more faint as a very thin layer of gesso is laid over it to separate it from the paint layers that will come next.

Soon the under painting will appear here as the next step.
