Marcelle keeps a sporadic journal of events, thoughts and notes. Her well-worn little note pad that you see here has gone many miles with her to many places. Every once in awhile she gets a bee in her bonnet on various subjects relating to art (see the articles in Art & Our Culture), or has a sudden inspiration of words or thoughts that must be put to paper, as in the Poems or Pointed Thoughts. She jots these down and later puts them together for others to read. Marcelle has found that words often enhance the visual mediums of paint and canvas, and so has taken up her pen on these occasions to share her observations, adventures and delights with you. New Zealand Tales is where the adventures start. At the insistence of friends she has made these available to all who want a glimpse of this breathtaking country.
